Last week our students had a special visit from a school bus and got the chance to climb aboard and experience sitting on a school bus! 🎉
During the visit, students learned about important school bus safety rules, including the dos and don’ts of riding the bus. From learning how to behave while on board to understanding how to stay safe, our students got a hands-on lesson in being safe bus riders! 👏🚌
We love opportunities that turn important lessons into fun, memorable experiences! ❤️
A big thank-you to our school transportation team for helping our students learn how to ride safe and ride smart! 🚌✨

Today, our ELC, Waldorf community is coming together in orange to celebrate kindness, acceptance, and inclusion.
Thank you to our students and staff for helping us create a school community where everyone is welcomed, valued, and included.
Together, we are stronger!

Our ELC, Waldorf wellness committee and staff kicked off the morning with our walking club before school! We're getting our steps in, enjoying time together, and starting the day with positive energy. Today is extra special as we celebrate Unity Day by spreading kindness, inclusion, and acceptance!
Together, we walk for wellness ad stand together against bullying. Let's wear orange, spread kindness, and celebrate what makes us all unique.
This week, we learned about our extended families! The children explored the important roles that grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins play in our lives. Through stories, discussions, songs, and hands-on activities, we learned that every family is unique and special. We practiced identifying family members, sharing our family traditions, and discussing the special things we enjoy doing with our loved ones. Our goal is to help children develop language skills, build relationships, and understand the importance of family, love and belonging!
We love seeing our students explore, create, ask questions, and learn together!⭐

There is something special about this time of year! Our classrooms are filling with creativity, our students are enjoying the changing season, and fall is bringing plenty of opportunities for learning an exploring. 🍁

✨Take breaks when you need them
✨its okay to ask for help
✨Talk about your feelings

✨Remember, you are enough, just as you are!
Let's continue to spread kindness, break the stigma surrounding mental health, and remind one another that it's okay to not be okay. Together, we can create a world where everyone feels supported, heard, and valued. 💚

ELC, Waldorf's Trunk or Treat is next Friday, October 16, from 5:30-7:00 PM! We're still looking for families to host a trunk and donations of candy/treats. Please check your email for more information. We hope to see you there!

Our students had a special visit from a local fire department and saw a real fire truck up close while learning more about the important work our community firefighters do. 👨🚒❤️
We are so grateful to our community helper for taking the time to visit our school and make this such a fun and educational experience for our students!
Thank you for all that you do to keep our community safe! 🚒❤️
